"Working with Marissa for a clay wall project was wonderful and inspiring. I had a vision of learning the basics of natural plastering in the context of community-building and co-creation with some of my dearest friends and Marissa fully honored and enhanced this intention. The wall itself was a beast -- about 500 square feet with a ton of inconsistencies in the drywall. Marissa brought skill, enthusiasm, mentorship and companionship to the project! She provided guidance, education and patience around technique and application process while also owning quality control and guaranteeing a beautiful end result (we were all quite green in our plaster skills prior to the project). She was professional and responsive during the planning and prep phase of the project and took the lead on ordering materials, recommending products and connecting me to all sorts of resources within the world of natural building.

"We have been fortunate to have Marissa to our property multiple times over the years - both to address issues from the previous owner’s installation at the house, as well as to completely re-do the color palette of our dining room, where she needed to cover a dark cabernet red over to a much more soothing green. Her application of the new color really opened up the light of the room and feels like she gave us a whole new room!

When its came time to choosing the finish for the walls of our new 1500 sqft meeting space, Marissa was our first choice. She worked with our crew of 5, none of whom had experience with plaster before, and some of whom had limited English, and completed a training on site that culminated in a beautifully finished space, with a quality that awed the novice crew. We couldn’t be happier with the outcome, and the crew has a new skill that they are very proud of. We look forward to working with her again!"
